  • ANSI - American National Standards Institute
    ANSI is a private, non-profit organization that administers and coordinates the US voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system. It promotes and facilitates voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems.
  • ASTM - American Society of Testing and Materials
    ASTM International provides a forum in which stakeholders from both the supply and demand sides of the marketplace come together and produce documents for trade and best business practices that are used around the globe. ASTM's market relevance is evident in over 100 industrial and management sectors, ranging from construction materials and environmental assessment to medical devices and property management systems. Over 100 nations are represented in ASTM International.
  • CFTO - Canadian Forces Technical Orders
    CFTO are guidelines and standards produced by the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND).
  • IEC - International Electrotechnical Commission
    IEC is the leading global organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies. These serve as a basis for national standardization and as references when drafting international tenders and contracts.
  • IMO - International Maritime Organisation 
    Agency of the United Nations established in 1948 to set international maritime policy. IMO provides a forum for governmental regulation of shipping, with special emphasis on maritime safety and the prevention of marine pollution.
  • ISO - International Organization for Standardization
    ISO is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies organized to promote the development of standardization and related activities in the world with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services, and to developing cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific, technological and economic activity.
     
  • MIL-STD - Military-Standard
    MIL-STD (or MIL-SPEC) are prerequisites and standards determined by the United States Department of Defense (DoD).
