Capabilities
Government and public expectations, and the regulatory framework regarding emissions that contribute to global warming and local atmospheric pollution are evolving rapidly. It is important that governments and corporations fully understand the emissions resulting from their activities so that appropriate strategies can be developed to effect emission reductions and to comply with the ever-changing and more stringent requirements. Marine Engineering is experienced in the compilation of emission inventories and can provide validated data based on any combination of appropriate methods including surveys, measurements, and scientific analysis.

Phase I Site Assessments
Application & Overview
The objective of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is to gather information on present and historic activities of a property and its neighbours, in order to evaluate the potential for soil or groundwater contamination. A Phase I ESA involves the following four main activities:
A Phase I ESA does not generally involve the investigative procedures of sampling, analyzing and measuring unless these enhancements are agreed to. Phase I ESAs are conducted based on CSA Standard no. Z768 “Phase I Environmental Site Assessments”.
